Good Questions, Good Answers
Curious about classes, private sessions, or counseling? I've gathered a few answers to help you find what you're looking for.
Movement + Mindfulness Inquiries:
-
No problem at all! I offer practices for all different experience levels, including first time participants. I encourage you to move at your own pace, explore modifications, and choose what feels appropriate for you.
-
You can explore yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and meditation practices on my YouTube channel. Under the Movement tab, there are links to 6 different kinds of practices you can do with me virtually in the comfort of your own home. I also post shorter workout and flow videos on Instagram and Tiktok if you’re on the go!
-
I teach in-studio at Gro Yoga and Wellness, with classes throughout the week at West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, and at the Replay Club in Boynton Beach. Under the Movement tab, click on In-Person classes, and you’ll see my weekly schedule and studio booking links.
Private Session Inquiries:
-
Yes! You can inquire about personalized yoga and Pilates sessions tailored to your experience, interests, and goals on the Contact page.
-
Absolutely. Private movement sessions can take place virtually through Google Meet or in person at a mutually agreed upon location.
-
I tailor pricing to the goals of the private/group session. Send an inquiry through the Contact page, or email me at michaela@mickeytheyogi.com. I’ll be happy to discuss your goals, preferred format, availability, and pricing.
Counseling Inquiries:
-
I am not currently accepting new clients, but in the future I will be opening up availability for virtual mental health counseling services. Stay on the lookout for updates, which will be shared on the Mindset page.
-
When availability opens up, I will be offering counseling exclusively online, for clients living in states where I am licensed to practice.
-
My approach to counseling is grounded in person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT). I emphasize collaboration, self awareness, and practical coping skills in sessions.
-
While all practices have benefits for the mind and body, yoga, Pilates, breathwork, and meditation practices are not substitutes for mental health counseling or treatment.
